Software Development Engineer Positions

Orbit Logic Incorporated is seeking a top of the line C# Senior Software Engineer to join our team. We are a successful and rapidly growing software company with a philosophy of signing up quality employees to contribute to our success. We develop cutting edge products for satellite/UAV scheduling, optimization, and planning. Our products are used 24/7 to plan billions of dollars in assets using high fidelity spacecraft/aircraft models. Additionally, our products integrate with leading visualization tools; including Google Earth, ArcGIS, STK, Google Maps.

Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to come up with innovative solutions to challenging problems. Candidates will work in small development teams on all aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, etc. They will also interact directly with customers and have the potential to attend domestic and international conferences. Skill Requirements:

  • 3+ year or equivalent of strong C++/C#/Java experience in Win32 environment.

  • Senior Software Engineer

    Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Provides technical support to small development teams on all aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design coding, unit testing, etc. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 6-12 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures including 3+ years of strong C++/C#/Java experience in a Win32 environment. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Report to the Director of Software Engineering and/or a Project Manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. U.S. Citizenship required.

    Systems Engineer Positions

    Orbit Logic is seeking a talented systems engineer to provide support for new and ongoing contracts and software products, primarily for aerospace scheduling applications. Candidates must be able to perform full life cycle activities including requirements definition, system design, interface definition, testing, training, and maintenance support. The position also involves support for marketing and business development activities. Self motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.

    Principle System Engineer

    Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. Resolves highly-complex technical issues and conducts advanced research. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Director of Systems Engineering and/or a Project Manager. U.S. Citizenship required.
