GREENBELT, MD, (August 30th, 2011) -- Orbit Logic Incorporated announced today that it has delivered an updated version of its collection planning software to MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd (MDA). in Canada. The software has been configured by Orbit Logic to support imagery collection planning by multiple satellites and will be integrated by MDA engineers into a ground station being delivered by MDA to a confidential customer in 2012.
Already proven over several years of commercial imaging satellite operations, Orbit Logic’s COTS collection planning and analysis software (CPAW) performs contact scheduling, order management, recorder management and downlink planning as well as high fidelity, high performance coordinated multi-satellite imagery collection planning.
